OT G.41 rifle magazine question
A friend of mine recently bought a G.41 semiautomatic rifle at a local pawn shop for $120. I am sick because I was in the same pawn shop a few days earlier and I guess they didn't have it out yet. It is all there except for the magazine. Does anyone know of a source for a G.41 magazine? I am trying to buy this rifle, but am hesitant to make an offer unless I can find a replacement magazine.

Re: OT G.41 rifle magazine question
is this the German G-41 which evolved into the G-43? If so the G-41's did not have detachable magazines. The G-43 had a detachable mag.

Re: OT G.41 rifle magazine question
Hawk,
It is a G.41 marked "duv 43." Although it wasn't manufactured by them,it is the model designed by Walther. I did not realize the magazine is not detachable like the G.43s, but regardless, it is missing. My books show that the G.41 magazine is different from the G.43. Several sources I have checked, including Gun Parts Corp. and Sarco, list parts for the G.43 but not the G.41. |

Matt, try a post on the subguns.com board. You may be surprised what you may find. Good luck
