Hello!
Im new in this forum and would like to take the opportunity to say hello to all Luger-fans in here! I have inherited my fathers P08 (S/42=Mauser?) from 1937. It has to my knowledge no military history and how it found its way into Sweden where Im located is unknown. My father used to compete with this gun in the 40's and 50's and for that reason he had the barrel changed to a 6" Tikkakoski during that period. The original barrel is unfortunately long gone. Other than that, all numbers are matching! Rgds, /Erik |

Hello Erik. Welcome to the forum. However, I must warn you of the danger you face. Five years ago I inherited a Luger from my uncle. It had a police marking on it that I wanted to learn about. After much obsessive research and writing, I have published a book on German police markings. This stuff is dangerous to your mental health!!! Be careful!

Not to mention, 'Lugermania'. You can't have just one! Welcome.

Welcome!!
Glad to have you here. This forum has the most Luger-educated folks in the world. You will not find better information on your Luger.
