Default No Date DWM luger, interesting variant

I happened to see this over on GunsAmerica, and I'd like to hear from the experts regarding it's lineage. I don't own it or have an interest in buying it.

In Don and Joop's MAUSER PARABELLUM (page 469) this gun falls into the range of Swiss Model pistols assembled by Mauser.
