help reaserching this luger
My great grandfather passes recently and we found this handgun among his collection of fire arms as i was researching it i ran accross your forum here and was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it thanks in advance

A very nice .30 cal. 1900 commercial American Eagle sold into the USA. Mfg. by DWM in Gerfmany. Do all numbers match? Looks very nice. Value between $2k and $4k depending on the "fine print".

as far as i know i put pictures of the only numbers i could find where else would they be?

Hi Kevin,
The last two or three digits of the serial number 702 or 02 should be on the bottom edge of the takedown lever and sideplate, trigger , bottom side of the center toggle, rear toggle under the rear sight, grips, left side of the breechblock, and on the bottom of the receiver and receiver lug. Very nice early Luger. Thanks for posting.
