Yep, Lots of old brown grease.

I'm going to wait another week to do a full cleaning until the new grips from Lugerdoc arrive.

The last 3 digits of the serial # (323) are hand etched on the underside of the toggle link. I'll look for more when I do a total take-down.

ML,

In tearing mine down I found some differences. Now mine is the P08 frame and yours is the Swiss, but they might still apply. First was that there is a retaining pin into the back of the right grip. Not a biggy but be careful. Most surprising was that i could not remove the extractor pin. At least with normal hand tools.

Thumbs up Range Report

Well I cleaned it up and took it to the range. Great super-accurate shooter. No malfunctions with Winchester White Box ammo. I shot a little low due to my shakes and not being used to firing this heavy a gun (2 pounds empty). I'm used to firing small and light concealed carry pistols.

Thanks to Lugerdoc for the black grips and a vey special THANK YOU to Hugh Clark (only 30 minutes away) for professionally fitting them up to my new Swiss 'Black Widow'.

Also, the holster I found on GB is a perfect fit.
