DWM Chamber Cartouche???

While looking for pics of Luger carbines with forearms removed (and finding mostly links, not pics!), I noticed this -

DMW Luger in 30 Luger Caliber, with an 18” Barrel

besides being sold by Sarco, and having a German commercial proof on the barrel, it has a receiver with the DWM scroll on the *chamber*...as well as on the toggle...

How common is this???

Rich, The DWM on the chamber is not common on Lugers but is found on a contract pistol..Bulgarian maybe? Where they put the country crest on the toggle and moved the DWM to the chamber.

Jerry's identification is correct. This is a made up piece. It has a receiver from a 1908 Bulgarian Luger and probably was fabricated sometime after the mid-1960s.

Ah! That makes sense! Sarco was putting together parts Lugers back in '08...And now I see the frame & receiver numbers don't match...and the rear sight is similar to an artillery, but the slider button is on the wrong side (like a C96 Mauser)...

And it has an odd [to me] proof on that DWM marked chamber/receiver...Looks like a Norwegian or Swedish proof...???...Bulgarian???...
