Default Drum Serial Numbers in the Snail Drum Book

on page 114, under NURENBERG 1ST ISSUE/TYPE 2 ##17732 is listed "17732-Gallo, 02" Does anyone know its significance?:

Cirelaw,
I noticed some on the list seem to be names, so here's my 2 cents. "Gallo" in Spanish means "Rooster." Maybe it could have been someone's nickname. ---Oh, and "EL Gallo" is very common meaning one who is very courageous or valiant.

If you look closely, I think you will see this is a list of reported drums and who owned them when. See Ralph Shattuck just opposite? I surmise that a collector named Gallo reported it to the list in 2002.

Whats really strange is after Ralph on each entry is '86' but there are close to twenty 80s I can't be age!! I know who to ask!!

I think 80s and 86 means the year they were reported.Like
1980 or 1986.

The two digits reference the year in which the serial number was reported to Ed.
