Another One Of Erics' Dumb Questions?
Did there ever have a scope for hunting with a Luger Carbine or for any other model? I say a picture somewhere with a scope mounted on a long barrel. It woud be interesting the luger mount!

Eric,
What book did this pic come from? Also, if a Luger can have a scope, then it should also have a suppressor, as in lower pic!

Here is an example of a LP08 with the ZF41 scope in a custom mount like Otto mentioned.

Thats great! I wonder if one ever mounted on a carbine as we know they were used for hunting! A different configuration! Nice work Ron! That is way cool! It must be great for target Compedition!!

Another question if I may ask; Is there a way to fit a silencer/suppressor to a luger without threading the front barrel ?
Alf.

Hello,
the police in the Weimar time used a barrel cap for cleaning the P08. I had seen a silencer put on a luger that way. regards Otto |

I've also seen some 4" barrelled lugers with removable front sight bases that screwed off to reveal the thread barrel underneath. See photo on page 363 of "Lugers at Random". TH
