Interesting holster construction, though.

I'd say a reproduction holster that somebody put through hell trying to make it look old. (I always look at the edges of the tool pouch first for either nicely radiued or ragged leather. This one has the typical repro ragged edge).

All that is needed is a reproduction Death's head stick pin that can be pounded into the leather to look like an authentic stamp.

Doug..No..It isn't a reproduction. What it IS is an Artillery conversion. The first indication of this is the pull up strap being sewn into the top hinge. Blow up the photo of the back where the belt loops are..you will see the square of stitching where the Artillery stock block was sewn on.

The holster is right enough..it's the DH that's spurious. It appears to be quite crisp compared to the other soft wear everywhere else on this holster. That and the fact that no one has ever seen this DH in this place, size etc. before.

Doug, I agree All that is needed is a reproduction Death's head stick pin that can be pounded into the leather to look like an authentic stamp. Or something similar.

Jerry,

You are correct! A slightly larger photo made it all clear.
