Just got this, all info is appreciated

I got this a couple days ago in a trade. Its a 1918 Erfurt. It has pitting on almost the entire gun except internally. It cycles and seems to function with no issues. It has 2 mags with it not original I don't think. The pitting has seemed to maybe gotten rid of a couple numbers but the serial on front below the barrel is 3058. Wood grips are in pretty good shape as well. This gun seems to have a different coating on it not blued. I know I have read in a book the late 1918 Erfurt's had a rough coating on them so I do wonder about this. Also would like to know what kind of price I might could get out of it.

The late Erfurts were a bit less finely polished and showed tool marks, but they were blued just like the others. Yours looks like paint or the "Russian dip". Are there any "X"s thru the numbers? If not I'd guess that someone painted it to cover up the pitting.
Value might be $400 to $600.

Looks to me like an extremely well worn Erfurt that was parkerized with a couple of Mec-Gar magazines. If it shoots, should be worth $500- $700.
What did you trade for this acquisition? MR

I traded a beretta nano with a lasermax laser and the guy gave me this and $50 cash, thanks for the info. I really wanna shoot this, should I look out for anything?

On a hundred year old P0.8 many things can and will break such as extractors, ejectors, breech blocks etc. Use low pressure ammo.
An easy sell? Perhaps.

would 115 gr fmj be okay to run through it, surprisingly this thing internally looks very good with the only pitting being slightly in the barrel. By the way it also came with a little tool that I assume assists in taking the grips off and such. What other uses does it have?

The main use of the tool is the assist your weak side thumb in the loading process. 115 gr. ammo is fine, no +p stuff.
Should be an easy sell at the right price. It should go fast at $500. I'm sure someone here would jump on it. But all you need is one buyer with money.
Regarding shooting it, load just one round for the first few shots, then 2, just to make sure it is fit for duty. Inspect it after each shot. Then just watch for the normal stuff: parts flying off, etc.

Thanks, I am gonna try and go shoot it today. Just something about shooting a gun thats been a few places and done a few things in its life is very intriguing to me. After shooting I will be placing it up for sale more than likely. Thanks everyone again for the info and help

Looks like it was heavily rusted and cleaned-then coatd with something.

Notheing related to rougher late rfurt finish.

I would be careful firing it-springs might be equally deteriated.

I have seen barn finds and others like this.

Basically rated as "poor" condition.

Could be a good shooter with good springs.

Range report- This thing functioned perfectly. All the internals are in great shape as opposed to the exterior. I fired one bullet at a time for 5 rounds then filled both mags and had some fun. What a great shooter. Ran a total of 50 rds through it with the only issue being a stovepipe and I believe that was the magazine, I think the casing kinda hung up from no use and that was in the 2nd full mag. Let my 15 yr old son shoot it he enjoyed that as well. I let the gun shop owner look at it and he was saying the same as I thought and alot of you have said. It was cleaned up and parkerized along time ago. The gun is still very tight as far as tolerances go. I appreciate all the help and you will see this listed up for sale very soon.
