Need help
I have a gunsmith friend that wants to build a Luger carbine. Is there anyone in the Indiana (state) area that has one that will be willing to let him come and examine it and take pictures to determine how the forearm latching mechanism is attached and works?
Or alternatively, is there anyone that is willing to take some good close up pictures of theirs and send them to me? Thanks, Hugh |

Re: Need help
Sorry I can't be of help, Hugh, but I think that close-up pictures of this mechanism would have strong general interest here. If you get such pictures, I hope you will be able to post them. Thanks. Luke

Re: Need help
The other American Rifleman (August 1980) I picked up at the gun show a couple weeks ago has an article on the Luger carbine. It included photos of the guns' nekkid frames, which I have scanned and included here. Hopefully these will help until something more substantial comes around.
