Sesquicentennial for the civil war, in 3rd year of war by 1864 tides had turned for the Confederacy.

Seems to be same flavor for many nations. The Confederacy did excellent until halftime, same for the Third Reich. Was it the same for the Kaiser?

Heres the numbers of Americans http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_...ualties_of_war THE GRAPHS ON THE BOTTOM ARE AMAZING WOW!!!!! WW2 1941-1945 291,557, WW1 53,402, Civil War 212,938!!! More died of disease and infections in the Civil War than from bullets or artillery!
