observation
I just returned from my bi-monthly 7 day work sojurn. A year ago, I could sit down at the computer and catch up on the past weeks Forum posting in about 15 minutes. It just took me 4 hours to read everything (yes, I read all of them!)that was posted since I have been gone. This thing has really grown!

Re: observation
Hugh,
I do have access to the Internet on my site location, but I hardly have time to check it out much myself lately. I try to check ealy in the morning before my people get here and from then, it is catch as catch can. By the time I get to my house in the evening, I am ready to crash. I think I am doing a little better than you as you don't access for the full week. Glad you are back safe! Marvin |

Hugh there are now 139 profiles!
That is roughly twice as many as we had this time last year! This site is beginning to ROCK!

Re: observation
Come on now, I work in a shhool like you do. Aggravating sometimes, yes, but hard money, no. Kids are generally great, parents are a problem.

2 weeks per month work
Jim, it's in the oilfield, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone!
I got my 40 year Rolex two years ago, started drawing my SS last year, work a week on and a week off and get 5 weeks paid vacation. On top of that, I have time to do my grip checkering while on the job! And they keep worrying about me retiring! Who want's to leave a cushy job like this one? I feel like I'm semi-retired already. |
