Federal Firearms License A Breeze
I downloaded the form attached. You fill it out and drop it by for signature of you local enforcement officer. He checks your record and signs your form and 2 week later its yours~~ Eric https://www.atf.gov/files/forms/down...-f-5310-12.pdf

I checked the dates I forgot a signature and they returned it the first time. Debbie sent it back 2 weeks ago and I received it this morning. I already have my concealed carry permit! They were waiting on my signature~~~ I expected 3-4 weeks and was mildly suprised~ I guess I have been a good boy! It is a "Collector of Curios and Relics"

technically you only have to send a copy to your local law enforcement - not that you have to get their signature. I do not think Florida is more restrictive on that form...

There is a section for your chief enforcement officer. When Debby picked it up from our police dept they included a short computer print out that I included with a copy of my carrier pemit to the feds~! Debby was always a good secretary!

I only had to send a copy of the application/renewal for the 01 and the C&R to the sheriff and certify that to the feds. Now for the Class 3 stuff, the sheriff had to personally sign off.
That was the fed rules. (Ky is a free state and does not have any rules.)
