Default Casual Find - box of 30 Luger

Was driving past a small fishing/hunting store today (like 400 sq ft store) and decided to stop and see if they had any powder. They didn't (just muzzleloader stuff, FFG I think) but I spotted this box of Remington 30 Luger.

Price was $21.99, so I took it. End of box and top both have hand-written "Oct 1969" (and $7oo). All 50 there; ones on end of box where it was frequently opened are more tarnished than the rest.

46 yr old ammo. Good for display.

I guess it pays to stop at the small shops.

I would have to say that you made a good buy on that ammo. One just never knows what treasures are lurking around the next corner. Congrats!!
