Post M2 Question...

The North Carolina gal is selling this Portuguese M2 1906 luger :

http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Vie...?Item=16239260

Looks like a nice piece. Does anyone know what the scriptic S on the frame and underneath the take-down lever indicates ???

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Hi Pete, I do not know what the s is but if you look very carefully you can find out what the entire serial number is. To me it is a quite interesting number that you do not see very often, the last two digits anyway. Can any find out what it is?

You got it George. Check out the photos of the take down lever. You will see where the mistake of covering up the numbers are.
