Default aimco luger

Gentleman. Ijust bought a new 1993 aimco luger unfired.Would someone please tell me about this luger.

Claude, Most parts of the new Aimco stainless lugers are NOT interchangable with the German PO8, so you are locked into them for spare parts, except mags, which I and others carry. Even the mags changed around S/N 3500 to a wider one, with eagle logos on the wood bottom piece, which will not fit into the standard PO8. As with any stainless pistol, your should use an approved grease lubricant to prevent galling. Other than that, it should shoot reliably, if you use the right power ammo.

AIMCO does sell replacement parts, if that is the concern. I understand that they also can do some gunsmithing and repairs, if necessary. Please look at my earlier posting for their current telephone and fax numbers, or e-mail me at [email protected].
