Highest reported 06/29 serial number
Hi
I am looking for the highest reported Swiss 06/29 serial number. This should be in the 78xxx range. The commemorative 100.000 from the 1980s can be ignored. In 1968, Bern sold 3 pistols to Mauser, numbered P78219, P78220 and P78221. I wonder if higher ones have been reported. Books appear to either not mention this or contradict each other. |

Fred Datig shows an end number in 1947 of P78258, in his book "The Swiss Variations 1897-1947", I still have a few of these new unissued copies of this 88 page Monograph available @$35 + $5 S&H.
