Default US Luger Holster Making~

It seem not much is written about very earlier holsters. First the 1000 Test Holsters, they were models at the Rock Island arsenal. Were any other Luger Holsters made in the US? Eric

If you mean military made holsters, there would have been no need.
If you mean commercial holsters, yes.

Thank You, totally commercial. I'm sure the 1908 and earlier navy there had to be specs! I was wondering the earler commercial, I have a few that I have posted and wondered if there were regulations for commercial., I've got a few early commercial that I want to match up! Basically were the Military the same as commercial? TKS

The military holsters will always follow specifications laid out by the adopting department. Commercial holsters are free to follow any design. Although they may choose to make a copy of the military issue, they will not be marked the same.

Military, by far. Unless there is some compelling historical context or rarity to the commercial holster.
