Shoulder Holster?
Hello, I was hoping someone may be able to give me some information on a shoulder holster I have with my Luger. The background on this is that the gun and holster were brought back from Germany by my Great Uncle (who has since passed). He always said that he got the gun, one magazine, and the holster at the same time through a trade during the war. There are no markings on the holster. I haven't really been able to find any information on shoulder holsters used by Germany, minus a reproduction Panzer holster from IMA-USA
https://www.ima-usa.com/products/ger...eather-holster and this Luftwaffe Issue holster from Pre98 https://pre98.com/shop/pre98-classic...ink-co-marked/ If anyone has any information on this holster it is greatly appreciated. Ignore the reproduction grips, when he got the gun he had someone make custom grips for him with his initials on it so I got these to help preserve the custom ones. |

Your holster is pretty typical of the type made before, during and after WWII in Europe.
Maybe made in Germany, maybe for a German or for a GI that wanted a shoulder holster for his prize luger.

Interesting , thanks for the picture.
What do you think is the vintage? Maker with "& Co." is a little different also.

sure is
---------------------------- ACTUALLY - the magazine pouch on the original poster is for a P38 or other flat larger magazine, then it is a luger.... --------------------------- and my shoulder holster - no maker markings |
