Repairing holsters
I just got a holster for my Luger, but the strap that buckles it closed has some damage, half-torn through at the hole where it naturally buckles.
I'm really out of my depth with this sort of thing... I study guns & ammo, not so much accessories and leather/cloth militaria. Is it "worth it" to have it professionally repaired, or is it one of those things that's just better to leave it alone? I don't have any intentions of using or wearing it, just wanted one to keep with the pistol. |

Yep. Definitely. Reach out to Jerry Burney aka lugerholsterrepair. He’s very good, fairly priced and affordable, and fast. He just did a couple of holsters for me, and has done a ton for the guys here on the forum.

Jerry's work is quite amazing and reasonable. And for a guy who can't decide where to live he's a great guy. Bill

Can confirm the above. Had a rough looking 1938 holster and he made it look like I took it right from the leather shop in Germany.
