Thanks Jerry,
I'll keep looking as, like you, I believe D&B's is over priced.

I was looking at the post with the photos of the P-Kasten that you and your colleagues produced, very nice. What I appreciated was also the marking 'reproduction' on it, so no chance of pulling the wool over anyone's eyes.

Patrice,
Dans quelle région êtes-vous basé? Peut-être que dans le futur, j'aurai l'occasion de voyager en France et de voir votre collection moi-même! Tres belle image.

Just practising my written French and asking Patrice where he lives in France, my apologise to other users, I had to take advantage of the opportunity.

Richard

Thank you for that invitation, one of these day I may take you up on that. I visited Toulouse a few times back in 1984, when on 'Quartier libre', after completing my instruction in Castelnaudry. I was then 'shipped' to Djibouti for a 2 year tour of duty and did not return to France until the end of 1986. Then I was back in Aubagne for a short time, until I received my posting for Calvi, where I was stationed through till 1990. Mind you between tours of duty in Central African Republic, Tchad, back to Djibouti, then French Guiana in 1989 during the troubles in Surinam, to reinforce the Maroni river patrols, I did not spend much time in Corsica.

I know a couple of former French Marines, that would agree with you on that!

Gentlemen,
D& B have just provided me the serial numbers for the drum mags they are selling with, or without, the P-Kasten.

140318, 325142, 106352, 370124 and 193103

All appear to have one thing in common, and not just the price, £1495; and it is thanks to members on this forum that I gained that knowledge, so big thanks to all concerned.

They never supplied the requested photos of the markings on the Loader.
