Default Mauser hsc

During what time period did Interarms sell the Mauser HSC pistol in a blue plastic box?
Thanks.

1968 to 1977-ish.

The first batch of HScs was packed in cardboard boxes with a plastic inlay.

A bit later they used the blue plasic box, cardboard sleeve and polystyrene insert.

The last Interarms batch came in black plastic boxes (5000 series).

Luxury boxes were available on demand.

Sometimes you see unused factory boxes repurposed for other HSc pistols.
