Default WWII era holster needs repair..

Good Afternoon,
I recently purchased a WWII era holster, Auwarter & Bubeck, 1938 Stuttgart. Holster is very nice but the flap needs to be reattached, sewn. I contacted Mr. Jerry Burney by email that I found on this site and private messaged him. I can't tell if he is still active on this site. Any update would be appreciated. If he is not active, does anyone know of a source for repair? What type of thread may have been used? Thank you.
Dan

Jerry is still very active on this forum. Just give him a bit of time, as not everyone spends their day on a computer. He is worth the wait.

Jerry has fixed things for many for many years - does great, and original looking work!

He's worth the wait! Hah! I am hoping my maker reads these posts! Making my annual migration like a hummingbird to my Arizona compound. Smart little birds...
