Post 1920 Commercial Luger~9mm

Saw this on an auction and thought someone might want to look at it. Is described as a 'bring-back'.

I thought on comercial models serial would be marked on the bottom of the extractor and none on the clip.I read this in kenyons book, a couple of days ago.Would like to know if I am right on this. I am just getting interested in commercial models. And was wondering about other differences in placement of serial #. thanks for any help.

ejc, What you said is true. Also the hold open, firing pin, safety lever & bar will not be serialized on DWM commericals (unless reworked) and the take down lever (locking bolt) and side plate with be numbered on the lower edge. By the 1920s, they usually dropped the serial numbers from the breech block and the center toggle link.
