Post Santa Took a detour

All,

I managed to convince my pal and fellow forum member (Lurker?) Art Buchanan to come out of retirement and do his *magic* on a tired old Luger carcass for my son. The boy does some incredible stuff with the SOF Band of Brothers, so I thought a nice "stay at home, only carry to church" piece was in order.

Well, Art, as usual, managed to GREATLY exceed expectations and between him and Bill Adair, I have a truly magnificant Christmas gift for my third generation Special Ops guy.

Am hoping that Mr. Best-In-The-Whole-World Luger Leather Guy (You know who you are, Paratrooper!) has been able to get through the migration to Yuma and will have a suitable holster done in time for Weinachtsfest. If not, so it goes...

But kudos and great appreciation to real gentlemen who forsake much to ply their craft for those few of us who are truly appreciative.

Art, Bill and Jerry, you both have my deepest gratitude and heart-felt thanks. You guys are the top of the top!

Russ,

If I could post pictures on this consarned (I think that is what Grampa' Amos called it)forum, I would.

But I can't.

I'll find the pic that Art sent to me and send along for your enjoyment. This is the second baby Art has done for me and he really pulled out the stops. It is a truly magnificant piece of work and will be a great shoulder holster/back pocket gun for decades to follow.

A relly nice piece of work at a very reasonable price.

Tom, your computer must be screwed, because you are a fairly intelligent guy, and if you can follow the numbers, you can post a picture...

I really feel that people make this too hard to post a picture.

This is all you do. (PROVIDED the pictures are small enough)

You upload it, you copy the link and post the link... And the url is there to view when clicked on. To make the image show, you add the letters img

If your pictures are too large, then make them smaller to start with... do this by either setting the camera to take e-mailable pictures or buy software to shrink them.
