BAGHDAD FALLS!
Is this a great day to be alive, or what?!
It is fantastic to be a part of such a potent society as the United States that can create/give freedom to other peoples who have been supressed and oppressed. The joy of giving the gift of freedom is to see the happiness in the faces of the Iraqi people and by empathy share that happiness with them. It's great to be an American!

So true neighbor. I didn't watch "The Bachelor", Missed "survivor", reality tv is a five year old, gonna grow up free, Iraqi kid leaning out from his father's arms to kiss a marine on the cheek.

I wonder why the rioters spoil everything. If it doesn't settle down it will be almost as bad as NYC with a power outage or LA with a cop shooting a minority. I wouldn't wish that on Iraq.

If when the US armed forces have finished liberating Iraq, they are more than welcome to come down here and colonise us, making this place the Fifty-Whatever State and bringing their Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment with them.
Do that and I promise not to kiss any Marines! |

The population of the Free World increased by many millions yesterday. I hope the rest of the Arab world takes note; likewise the psychopath in Pyongyang.

Let's not forget the other Iraqi neighbors... like Syria and Iran... and others.
I bet the rest of the Arab states are scratching their heads and wondering how long it will be till the fall of tyrants includes their own regimes... I am proud that the military in this country protects the right of the people to make political choices instead of ensuring that the people make the choice that they are told to make. I hear we are setting up a new TV station to broadcast the truth to the Iraqi people... Here is an excerpt from the first Verizon mobile phone commercial

A quick look at the map shows a devious and treacherous Syria to be in a rather precarious position today.
If they have accepted some of Iraq's WMD items for hiding or exploitation, they could be in serious trouble. Let's pray they make the right decisions Luke
