To Mr. Johnny C. Kitchens: Yes, I got it.

It didn`t go as I actually planned, in the beginning my meaning was to order the gun from Orimar via my dealer, but this idea was deadborn.

So I started to check German gun websites to find dealers who would have this gun in their stock or who could order it from America. I found two dealers who did have this gun, finally Mrs. Sabine Scheider won the price competition plus my heart, she sold the gun to me over 400 euros cheaper than her rival, what a Lady!

She had bought it from a collector who had not shot a single shot with it. It was in its`cardboard box with manuals etc. The inlay above the eagle showed that it was manufactured in 1993, serial number was 69**.

I carefully disassembled the gun and it was easy to see that it was used only for the mandatory C.I.P testshots and that`s all. I got the gun today and my dear wife told me that I have to eat a lemon to stop smirking like a stupid.

Price for this gun was very reasonable, 530 euros ( 663 dollars ), my female gun dealer proved to be a real professional with guns and a great organizer, everything went painlessly. I`m very happy.

Atte,
Gongratulations on your new gun and welcome to our happy little stainless club! Send us some pictures when you have a chance.

Mine likes S&B 9mm from the Chech Republic but other European brands may have enough power to cycle the action. That is the brand that the factory tests with. I hope that you like yours as much as I do my two.

Jamese,

If you look at my first post on page one of this thread, it tells what pages in the member gallery you can find a current Orimar price list and the photos of the stainless guns.

I will try to post pictures as soon as possible.

I happen to S&B 9mm cartridges at home because I have a CZ 75 satin nickeled and S&B have worked flawlessly with it.

I continue my search for a stainless steel Navy modell, this search can be a lot harder than first one because I haven`t seen any available gun at european gun websites. But don`t they say about fishing that half of the fun is waiting and trying to lure the fish to bite, I have cast my lures to the water and now I just got be patient.

Who knows if I`m lucky.

Atte,

Good luck in trying to find your "Navy" stainless. I have one and some of the pictures in the gallery show it along with the 4.75 inch .30cal. I like the longer barrels.

I look forward to some pictures.

Atte,

I like it! I am assuming that there is some glare from the lighting used. I see that it is an early model with a bulge where the stock lug would have been and no grip safety. A very nice gun. Let us know how it shoots.
