Post The BIG Reno Show

I just checked the show calendar and the next one is 15-16-17 August. I know it is a little early but now is the time to start thinking about attending this really great show. There is usually more than 1100 tables covering an acre and a half of floor space. The last one I went to I spent two days in there and left knowing that I had not seen it all. Make your hotel reservations early as the price starts going up about a month before the show as the hotels/motels start filling up. I think I will be able to make this one in conjunction with a trip to CA to visit the kids, hope to see some of you there.

Herb,

I hear that Russ Withem and/or Doc Fisher will buy dinner for all LF members, this time... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Looking forward to the show. I will be staying in my motor home at the KOA next to the Reno Hilton.

If it's a good buy day, I'll be sleeping in my car, but at least we'll have dinner. Thanks Russ & Doc! (Ha)

Hmmm, there are currently 1265 registered members to this great forum... depending on everyone's schedule, this could turn out to be a very expensive day for Russ Withem and Doc Fisher...

John,

At the last show, we had a total of 8-9 for dinner...that was the 2nd. time we had a small LF group together...

We are trying to make it a regular event for the LF folks that live close enough to make the show. Besides meeting face-to-face and becoming luger friends, all are asked to bring along a few of their new luger finds to share with others.

We missed one LF member at the last show (i.e. Jim Elson) so next time we will try to get everyone's cellular numbers in case we miss someone at the pre-arranged meeting time/place...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

The camaraderie, good cheer, sharing of experiences and "sponging" up all that information will be well worth the price (and it certainly won't be MacDonalds! Doc Fisher
