Default Sorry about the SLOW response from this site earlier....

Some ISP in California thought they would "publish" a set of IPs that THEY WERE NOT ASSIGNED TO from ARIN or RIPE??!!! So - since 4:15 PM EST - they were getting about 20% of my traffic - so a lot of folks "timed out" when trying to reach this site.. I'd get into a lengthy dissertation - but I'm beat - and those static IPs (my set of /26 IP blocks!!!!!!) have been removed from that ISPs "control"...

We should be set..

Thanks!

Ed, it's good to see you back on the forum in your usual humor. How are things shaping up?

As I tell them at work, "fine"

ups and downs....

insurance covers the vast majority, i went out and bought a new shower head where we are staying and then realized i needed tools too (they packed up all of our stuff).

Its these weird expenses that will be a pain

John,

Glad to see the forum back. I never know if it's my computer or something else that's causing me problems. I know a little about some handguns but very very little about computers. I had to have a 5 year old show me how to turn it on.

Al, it's illegal to keep computer kids in the closet, you have to let them out on a leash in the yard every now and then...
