http://www.rockislandauction.com/
Once the page full loads, you will see a "search" link... NAPCA member John James started a good, informative discussion about this auction on Jan Still's Gun Board... http://www.gunboards.com/luger/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6489 |

I think there is some bogus things and some very nice things on the auction. I find it odd, they call a 1929 new manufacture a rework, as it had/has a sear and maybe a mag safety, it could have been reworked, but they make it sound like "arsenal rework", like it was done in 1962...

As Pete has so wonderfully demonstrated, there are a wealth of fine holsters and mag pouches on the Rock Island Auction that will be gavelled down tomorrow am! These holsters look like the real thing and if the bidding stays within the estimated price range, they will be a great buy for someone. As I have been told by supposedly reliable sources, many of the lugers on the auction have been returned from past auctions and are being especially played down by the descriptions so as to NOT be returned again! But then one must consider WHY they were returned in the first place. Caveat emptor!
