Post A pair of quality firearms

I bought a Swedish M96 long rifle this weekend, and I am seriously impressed with the quality! I reckon they made em good at the Carl Gustafs Works in 1904. This musket does not look 100 years old, surely reblued, obviously not much used. The Swedish folks must take fine care of the weapons.

I also traded for a Colts Police Positive Special 4" revolver in .38 special. The serial# implys that it was made in 1953. Markings on the bottom of the grip strap indicates police issue, tiny import stamp means it came home from overseas. Lots of surface wear and reblued. But she still works, and is accurate. I ordered a D frame tuneup kit, and a used set of grips(hopefully still with checkering). She's going to be just fine!

I have to keep my spirits up during this horrid Luger drought. Stevie.
