Those damb feet. Magic Coffee. 1 ounce Bourbon (Jack Daniels), 1 ounce Kalua, 1 ounce ameretto. Mispell every ingredient, add to coffee, cream. Take pictures of guns as you aint going shooting today because it's raining. post liberally on internet, take nap at 10 a.m., wife goes shopping, comes home at 4 with too many receipts. more magic coffee, finger guns. make certain ammo is hidden, as guns and alcohol don't mix. look at receipts, wish you knew where ammo was...

But seriously, was talking to a friend of ours. He states he has .45 Luger #2 and is making exact copies of it. should be ready in the spring at around $2k a pop. I would like to be in line for that one. My only idiocenecratic vice on my collecting vice is calibers. Long arms: 30.06, .308, .223, .22, pistols: .45, 9mm. .22, and .380. Of course there are exceptions...

Dwight, can't. sworn to secrecy and mispellings and all. But, through the vine, a friend of this board has acquired .45 cal luger ser# 2 and will be making exact copies of it. first ones should be rolling out in a few months. This is all I know / can say.

Not doubting you, but Mike Krause was "supposed" to have seen the #2 gun, made dimensions and now makes exact copies, but they go for 15K.

If I can get one for 2K, the check is in the mail...

Boys, Boys, Don't be too quick to jump on this bandwagon. As you all might suspect deep down, the Luger is not all that easy to make. In today's climate of the high dollar,Trigger 643 is trying to hoodwink the lot of you! who in their right mind would make a Luger for Two Grand? Maybe a large Company that could expect to sell a few thousand of them but the average guy who wants to keep it a deep dark secret? Give me a break....And what kind of quality could you expect for such a price? Yes, I would like to aquire a .45 Luger for this sum but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for this pipe dream.

C'mon Trigger...Fes up! You are joshing right? This is like holding up a cup to thirsty shipwrecked Sailors claiming there is water in it...You shouldn't toy with these fellows, they have guns! Jerry Burney

Big Norm, As I understand it John Martz has had some health problems and might have slowed down a bit. Even if he was making .45 Lugers( I have seen one) They aint gonna be two thousand! The only hope on this Planet is going to rest with Aimco.....At least unless you got $15,000 for a copy of Mike Krauses .45 and I sure as heck wish I did! They are real works of art. I know he is not making them fast as a Friend of mine has been looking for his for a couple of years now. Jerry Burney
