1911 price
Hello everyone,
I have been offered a Kimber Classic Stainless Target .45 in like new condition with packmar? grips, (1) one factory SS clip for $700.00. Is this a good price? Gun is in great shape and tight. Is this a good gun as I will shoot it quite a bit? (Could not find model on Kimber web site). Happy New Year! Michael

Kimber... I owned one once. Good gun. I think, If I am correct, the gun you are looking at is $1,250.00 new. 65% of that would be a correct used gun price from a dealer. So you are certainly in the ball park with this one. It should have the box and all papers. If I remember correctly, kimber offers a life time guaranty on their weapons, the papers should include a warranty registrastion card. I strongly recommend you fill it out and send it in, as 1911's need frequent tune-ups. (My Clark gets back to Clark about every 3 or 4 months, or 2,500 rounds, for ejection and extraction problems).
