german websiite on lugers?

The co-worker I bought the 1917 Erfurt Luger from Thursday said that there was a website in Germany that you could input the information from you Luger in and it would tell you all about the history of the gun.
I never heard of such a site does any one know what he is talking about.

Never heard of it for Germany, there is a site in the USA that does USA guns, but of course, it is limited in how many guns are actually covered and also the types.

I would ask him to give you some more info, although this might be something he "heard" and did not himself go to. Lots of rumors and untruths out in the web.

I will ask him for the address Monday he was off sick Friday.
I don't know if he ever went to the site before or is repeating something he heard.
He is not a gun person so don't know what is what.
