FXO magazines
Here's a newby question for those who are highly educated in the ways of the Luger... Are FXO magazines considered to be the most sought after? If so, then why? I have one mag marked FXO E/37 and another marked 122 E/37.

Not that I know anything but they are sought after because the are about the best mag made for the Luger. Also the ones with the black plastic bottoms(so called Black Widow) are getting hard to find in perfect shape.

bda, both the fxo and 122 type magazines are excellent. The 122 was the first to contain the redesigned spring and was used during the 1940 and early 1941 productions. The German Ordnance Codes required Haenel to change the inspection mark from 122 to fxo. These fxo magazines are found on late 1941 to the end of Luger Production!
