Dallas Market Hall Gun Show
I will attend the Dallas Market Hall Gun Show. Set up is Friday March 24, and the show is Sat and Sun. Saturday I will be at table L-19. I would love love to meet any other luger collectors. I will not bring any lugers to sell, just cannot stand to part with them. Will have some Nazi items and some Japanese guns, etc.

Went today. I did okay. Came out with one Mauser P.38 mag (P.38v E/WaA135) and one Walther P.38 mag (P.38 E/359). Saw some nice P.38's and one or two P.08's that I liked, but they were far and few between.
RGARRET what were you near? I didn't pay attention to the numbers on the tables. I would have come by, but I just saw this post. |

I always liked this show! When I was working in Dallas a number of years ago, I went to this show and was one of the first in line. Within 5 minutes I had bought a 98% 1939 Luger from Wolff Baumbach (DFW Firearms). This was the first time I had met Wolff and we became friend after that. Wolff always said it was the quickest sale at a gun show he had ever made! Within the 5 minutes, I entered the show, walked by several tables (no Lugers) and there was Wolff with LUGERS! I was looking for a 1939 and he had this one for $1100 and I bought it!
He sure has increased the prices on his firearms since them. I guess he figured they were priced too low since I bought about 4 pistols from him in a shot period of time. Do you think I am the one that made him increase is prices, LOL!!! |

Probably didn't help....hahahahaha. His prices are pretty steep, but he is well versed in the field of Lugers and the P.38's he has. I think you also pay for the fact that he won't steer you wrong. In my experience with him, he'll tell you if what you are looking at is a "re-do" or not.
I also bought a '37 Luger from him. Price tag was a little higher, but I knew that if I bought from him he wouldn't do me wrong with a "re-do". So I didn't mind the little extra I had to pay. I still have this Luger too. I've since bought an Hk93A3, Walther Model 8 and an Hk Model 4 from Wolff. |
