Default dealers

Just noticed some comments about some dealers. I have been "burned twice in 15 years of collecting. The first was on a G date from the Southwest part of the country. The second was an artillery from the upper midwest. Lesson learned. A acqaintence of mine and famous collector once warned that if a man derives his primary income from dealing Luger pistol, be very careful. These are two instances when I should have listened to his advice.

Also wondering if anyone had ever had the pleasure of purchasing anything from Mr. Jack Laidacker from PA. Jack lived near me and I purchased my first Luger from him when I was in college. I purchased a few others from him over the years also. He ALWAYS had nicer original Lugers at better prices than anyone else around.

I was recently made aware of his passing away to cancer. He was as honest as the day is long and will be missed.
