Argentine on H-H
Argentine coming up on the Hermann Historica auction in DE. Too bad more photos are not provided of the chamber...
Lot Nr.353 A Parabellum DWM 1906, calibre 9 mm Parabellum, no. 29153. Matching numbers. Matt bore, barrel length 150 mm. On the chamber the Argentinian coat of arms in gold inlay. The extractor and safety both marked in Spanish "Cargado" and "Seguro". Grip safety. Complete and in places thin finish, slightly spotty. Better finish on receiver fork and toggle link. Small parts with yellow remnants. Dark brown walnut grip panels, no matching numbers. Nickel-plated sheet metal magazine as with navy commercial models without number. Quite good overall condition. Rare. Erwerbsscheinpflichtig. Condition: II Limit: 3000 EURO |

Pete, This luger appeared on an H-H auction previously and caught the attention of Mike Krause. If it had the old type of Navy rear sight and was in 7.65 mm, then it would have been VERY interesting. This may be a reworked luger.

Doc,
The Argentine Lugers in my database all have 5" or 6" barrels, both .30 and 9mm. --Dwight |
