'41 byf Jersey Liberated Luger
Hi All,
I thought you may wish to share with me my first luger. This is one of the many firearms left during WW2 by the German occupying force. The rig includes a '41 P08 holster, 2 mags & takedown tool. The box is one I bought on ebay. From my earlier posting, I decided against the deactivated route & recently obtained a full firearms licence. Given the 30 odd years of inactivity, she placed a tight circle over 25 yrds. I'm very pleased & hope that you too share my enjoyment. Thanks. |

Congrats on a fine rig. I am glad you decided not to spay the old girl... she is a beauty and should retain her functionality if at all possible...

Yes - She's a '62 E Type OTS - RHD. only 4,500 miles in from a full restoration and all mine. One of my other passions (wife accepted) is classic cars. For those that share a similar desire - I'm pleased to report the register has 49 confirmed XKE's in Jersey (that's one for every square mile). My thanks to all who've expressed their opinions on my '41 - I've my eye on a Krieghoff S & 1928 Thompson next.... Brendan |
