Default Did you ever have a really, really good day???!!! </strong

Hi to all! Went dove hunting this morning, got there late, on the first shot, the lense flew out of my glasses.....got kicked off the land (didn't know it was reservation land!) but, decided it was a real nice morning anyway, so we packed it in and came back to work. Spent half a day in the office, and got a call from my son to come home, and see the erg 42 pigskin holster that I just received from an ebay auction....well, I couldn't get home fast enough!! The holster looked great! But the real suprise was when I picked it up and felt it was heavy?? There was a pistol inside....I opened the holster (real nice erg holster BTW) and inside was a 99% 06/29 Swiss.....My son had stuck it in there as a present to his father, In his words, for all the help along life's way! Ya just gotta be happy with a kid like that!!! I feel pretty lucky today...life is good! till...later...G.T. P.S. I'll post a picture tonight! with JR's help!!

Thanks for reminding me what worthless self-indulgent inconsiderate louts my sons have turned out to be :P

No, seriously, congrats on both the son and the new toy, sounds like you must have done something right

What a nice surprise! It's things just like that that make it all worthwhile. But now, since you are feeling all this great gratitude, it's probably time to go out and wash and wax the new Porche that you just bought him. (What? He didn't tell you about it? hmmmm..)

Yes, I had a very nice day, when a guy name GT and his son gave me, out of the goodness of their hearts, a nice plum colored K98 Bayonet! What goes around......comes around! You got a great son there GT, and I have the pleasure in meeting both of you! ~Thor~
