Rfv
I'm new to this Forum but I would interested to hear if anyone has a P '08 with RFV markings - Reich Finance **** ?? (my German is minimal)
or did the RFV only get issued with PPs? DCCUK |

DCCUK, welcome to the forum. RFV ( Reichs Finanz Verwaltung ) is in Germany something like the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) in the United States. I saw many Walther PPk`s and a few PP`s marked with RFV, but no Luger.

Thanks for the info on Reichs Finanz Verwaltung etc
got a RFV PP so will have to look out for a RFV PPK.... when you say "few"... how few? to get a "matching set" - that would really upset a few in the UK.... BTW - got a C96 1910 - but not RFV - 30 cal Mausers are much easier to own in the UK as the ammo is classed as "not commercially available"... mine's currently a "safe queen"... BR DCCUK |

Had 8 of them over the years. Only one was a broomhandle. Other were 5 PPs -2 PPKs . Three were with the capture papers oddly enough. Those were all PPs
