A Thing of Beauty...A joy forever
Well thanks to Jerry and Ellie for making my dream come true. I started asking around about 2 years ago (the same time I starting bugging Hugh to turn a Luger into a Baby Luger for me) and could not find anybody to do this project RIGHT! CMR and I were talking but they wanted a guarantee to buy like 25 in my order and I decided against that. Jerry made some repairs on a 1938 holster for me and after seeing the work, we talked about my Baby and a hardshell for it. This man is PHENOMENAL!! I specified a hardshell just made like the originals only smaller, and in a buckskin
color. WOW, when I saw the finished photos, I almost died! I told them that it was like Jerry READ my mind! And I also said I was "Having little green kittens" over it! I am so throughly happy with the end results. Jerry did the whole thing really quickly too and he was very approachable about questions and he had a lot of patience with me to get this done the way I wanted. Now that he has a correct mold made, I think he can do more of these. The Weapon specs I specified was for a 3 & 1/4" barrel unlike the std 3" barrel Hugh is normally doing so some adjustments might need to be made for a shorter one, though he did one for Patrick that was probably for a 2 or 2 & 1/2" barrel. I am relieved and so damn pleased I am beside myself! Thanks to Jerry and Ellie(she helps a lot too) for making this such a success and wonderful project. Jerry.........you are AMAZING! ~~THOR~~ http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Gr...FrontDone1.JPG |
