Default 1913 unit marked 7.T.3.13.

Well, this is a put together, and I don't have it right yet. I bought the frame from a guy I met on ebay several months ago that was selling parts. He had sold a few of the matching parts to me and also to Bob Young. Bob sold the parts to me when I told him what I was trying to do!

Thanks Bob! Another member had an upper receiver that was marked 1913, which is what the frame serial number and unit equal.

I figured I was getting just some parts, but after the frame arrived, I realized that it was marked, front grip strap and rear grip strap!

I have no idea who J Newman was....

The unit marking of 7.T.3.13. I believe to be
Telegraph-Batalion 7, Kompagnie 3, Waffe 13

or in English, 7th Telegraph Battalion, Company 3, Weapon # 13.
and sn is 3247a

(In Jeff Nolls book, he has 7.T.3.3. (sn 2310a) so I figure I am right )

Ed,

Telegraph unit marked Lugers aren't all that common. Considering that there couldn't have been that many of them issued, it would be considered a scarce mark.

Nice!!!

I had a telegraph unit marked artillery at one time, perhaps 30 years ago and in a letter Costanzo ID'ed it for me...

Howard,

That would be a rare one. Wish I had it...
