rood, welcome to the forum. Please post pictures here on the forum, so folks do not have to leave the forum to look at pictures.
Also, what do you mean, real or fake? The side panel addtion is not correct, and the sideplate has a hole in it. Please provide more information, rather than have us do a guessing game Is someone offering it to you? do you think its a mock up or non-firing gun? ????

It is a replica Luger, made for display or stage prop. It is metal, probably aluminum or zinc (pot metal) and the action can be cycled but it is non-firing. Can always be found on eBay for around $70.

I am not sure that the C96 is replica or not, but the P.08 is definitely NOT a firearm... I think the price is WAY too high... I suspect that the C96 is also not a true firearm. Not worth 800 Euros, maybe 100 Euros.

Rood,
Someone is trying to scam you. Both are potmetal non-firing replica's that go over the counter for some 70 - 100 USD.... See this link for the 'P08': Asking price is 99 USD: http://www.armsoftheworld.com/produc...474267a5bbf587 And this one for the 'C96' Asking price is 75 USD: http://www.armsoftheworld.com/produc...474267a5bbf587 ps: If you are a Dutch resident: These replica's are forbidden by law and punishment is quite severe. Don't mess with them, buying and owning them is a criminal offence. |
