Interesting Item on the News Stand
I just got back to the house after a trip to the local grocery store. While there, I stopped by the magazine rack and saw a publication that caught my eye.
"Surplus Firearms" (from the publishers of Guns and Ammo Magazine) has a cover story regarding the "Deadly Artillery Luger." On Page 4, they show several photos of an artillery luger (maybe refinished) with shoulder stock and snail magazine. There's not much more information in the article than what I've learned here on the Forum (except that I found out that snail magazines came in a variety of configurations). The next time you go to the grocery, check it out. It may not be worth buying, but at least it's better than looking at the cooking mags..... Dave in TN. |

Actually there are a couple of variations if one takes into account less significant transitional changes such as reenforcing rings, etc.
