Default tac & ig visiting with Mr Hopscotch

Evenin', folks - just when you all thort you'd gotten rid of me, here
I am visiting with Joe in deepest Lane county, Oregon, who has kindly consented to me using his log-on to let you all know.

You will all be cheered to learn that ig is here with me too, and the pair of us are being treated like visiting royalty for reasons I can't as yet comprehend.

Tomorrow I will be shooting a REAL KH [and pllllththtspspsp to those of you who say they should be left to moulder on a shelf - see image of the #8647 KH in the Krieghoff column.]

Oh yes, and a couple of Radoms, too....

A Very Happy New Year to one and all from deepest Oregon...

tac & ig

PS - he also has a RED, four on the floor, Edelbrock 1965 Chevrolet Malibu....convertible. Eat your hearts out, 'stang owners! [Mainly Ed T]

Tac,

Welcome to what is left of the land of the free.
I hope you get to shoot until your hands are sore and swollen, and you've lost count of how many guns you've handled!

Finally got to meet our Sgt. Major Foley.

Had a good time with he and Joe Evans at the Isaac Walton range south west of Eugene, while tac joyfully burnt up a couple box's of 9mm in Joe's Radoms , and a half brick of Rem .22 in Joe's Rugers.

It was fun to watch him after he informed me that 100 rds of .22 ammo in GB sells for $20.00.

tac and Joe unloading...

ig was there to supervise.

I think ig was fond of the Radoms..

Had a great time. tac is a great guy with a great sense of humor. We spent most of our time laughing.

Thumbs up

"Finally got to meet our Sgt. Major Foley."

My apologies...

ig has informed me that this is in error and should be Lt.Col. Foley.

My reply was, "You can hang tinsel on a cactus, but it doesn't make it a Christmas tree."

He's still a nice guy....

Talking IG visits deeperst Orygun

Ig,
See you on Saturday, Dont forget to bring T & G with you.
I will see to it you and me are taken out for finest chunks of seared Cow.
Then we can go for a nice pontificate up at the japaneese gardens while our humans wander around aimlessly.
Yours in Great Furriness.

Howard,

I was a bit surprised to see that myself. It has been de-commissioned. The sides have been cut out as per Postal regs. This was my first visit to this range. It's several miles from my home, but only 2 miles from Joe's.

I'll disclose.

I put the holster in the bag, but forgot the Krieghoff was elsewhere.

My error.

tac,

It was a great pleasure meeting You, Mrs. Foley and the world renowned ig.

If I would have made better plans I would have brought my Navy shooter. Next time we'll do it right and hopfully the weather will be better.

At any rate I had a very enjoyable time. You are a very interesting gentleman. I enjoyed our conversations tremendously.

Tac may be the only person in the world who could visit all 50 states in the union and be invited shooting in each and every one!

Hope you had a wonderful time Tac.
