There is no prohibition on posting items and photos on both forums. Some folks belong to both forums, and you will see them post in both places...and some don't.
Please continue to share your knowledge and photos on this forum as well as on Jan Still's board, but don't expect different answers as the keepers of the truth frequent both places. The preponderance of Luger expertise is shared on both forums by their members. Do come back anytime.

Oh my gosh Bob, I didn't mean that your posting was redundant. I am sorry that I gave that impression. I was just sharing that your gun is enthusiastically received on both forums. I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding.

Or be lazy like me and just provide a jumping-link to the other place and vice versa...

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your replies. In my eagerness to learn about this gun, I honestly didn't think about the members "crossing over" between the forums. It makes perfect sense that these two special/specialized forums will share members. Mr. Wood asked me to re-post my photos. They are below. I certainly do not expect "different" answers from each forum. My intent is to learn as much as I can about this beautiful gun . By posting in both locations, I hope to pick up some different thoughts, ideas & or suggestions. Also, I hope you will accept my sincere thanks for making time to reply. Since last night, I've learned that this is really a special gun. I do not own another Luger and doubt that I ever will have another (I seem to find ways to blow my money on S&W revolvers, mostly shooters) As I explained to Mr. Wood, because this gun is so unique, I fee an obligation to learn as much as I can so that I can truly appreciate what I have been VERY LUCKY to acquire. Thank you all. Bob

A Very Nice byf 41... in my own opinion, the very best of Mauser's wartime production.
