GRAND PRIZE PP Photos!
At the risk of gloating I wanted to share pictures of the Walther PP with everyone.
The gun will not be for sale! This "Polizei Pistole" is a beauty and a special part of my personal collection. I now have a PP obsession to go with my Luger addiction and my post traumatic P-38 syndrome! I would like to extend special thanks to S.S. for his gracious donation of such a magnificent prize in such excellent condition. It is not even import marked! This wartime production 7.65 .32 carries crisp Eagle+N proofs on the right side as well as on the barrel. I also appreciate everyone else who donated prizes, and each of you that bought tickets in supporting the forum. If anyone knows what the proper holster would look like, please let me know. On the last photo, to kill two birds with one stone, I included Ed T's Bringbacks book. If you haven't read it, you should. It is a great book with a ton of amazing photographs, letters and stories that really capture the spirit of collecting WW militaria in my opinion. I am very grateful to the site administration for everything each of you puts into making this excellent community possible! To you I pledge my continuing support. THANK-YOU!

Clark,
Here is one rare holster that would be appropriate for that PP. |

I wanted to win this, boy would that have looked bad if I'd won; but I'd have lived with the "shame"

We would have made you wear a scarlet letter "L" if you had won!

I admired the holster as well. A really nice example.
