Luger Patch sales, off the site here?
Not sure who is going to actually be selling the patches here, but I have some ideas to make it more streamlined. If anyone here knows what PayPal is, you can setup a link on the menu bar, with the Luger related (forum) merchandise. Then, if someone wants something, they can use Paypal to instantly purchase it. That way, the seller (?) doesn't have to mess with checks, cash, and money orders. Paypal just uses an instant-pay button for the one item. Plus, the buyers can instantly use check (debited from account), or use credit-card (through paypal).
www.makarov.com uses this same system for some of their items, if you wanna check it out. It's not good for big companies, but great for one or two items. I can set it all up for the person (seller of the patches), if they like. If someone sends me a 100% CLEAN copy of the patch design (in jpg or gif format), I can get some T-shirts, mousepads, mugs, etc made for free. I'll be willing to put some time and work into, if you want an original design also. Anyways, email me peoples! (yes, I actually have a degree in eCommerce business admin. hehehe!) ---Wombat |

Here's what's happening so far...
Hugh agreed to be the distribution person for the patches. I like your PayPal idea, speak with Hugh (after he gets back from Arizona the weekend) maybe he could use this.
With respect to the other items, we have considered other items, but funding is an issue. We decided that we would see how the patches went then we would persue other items. John Sabato would be the one to contact regarding the original artwork. |

Re: Paying by Paypal
I already have a Paypal account! Anyone wishing to pay this way can contact me and make arrangements to pay in this way.

Paypal, Funding, and other neat items...
Alright, I'll be sending you a paypal payment for a patch or two after my trip as well!
The funding for the other items is totally free. Don't worry about that. And, it's all streamlined, and no one has to manage it. If someone sends me some ideas, or 100% jpg or gif Logos, I can work on them. Also, there is no profit to be made on them, so everyone can get the items fairly cheap. We'll discuss it next week. I think none of us are going to be around this weekend! LOL ---Wombat T-shirts, Mugs, Mousepads, sweaters, etc.... |

I'll be around
I'll send you the jpeg I have of the patch, John Sabato has the original artwork I believe, which may or may not be better. I'll also modify the Gen Info section to show that payment to Hugh can include PayPal.

Re: Luger Patch sales, off the site here?
Wombat,
The Mosepad, Mugs, etc. would be great items that I feel would be great sellers. We all have computers and drink coffee, so these two items would sell fast. I sure would like to have a Luger Forum Mousepad and Mug. The profit can certainly be used to make the Forum even better. Marvin |
